JQQ100090 is a Matrix Evaporator for the vehicle air conditioning system that uses R134a refrigerant. Fitted within the HVAC casing on Defender models with factory air conditioning, the evaporator provides the heat-exchange surface where low-pressure R134a evaporates to absorb heat from cabin air, producing cooled, dehumidified airflow; condensed moisture collects on the fins and drains away from the housing.
