JRJ100760 is a receiver dryer assembly for the air conditioning system. Fitted after the condenser and before the expansion device, it houses desiccant to remove moisture, contains filtration media to trap particulate and corrosion products, and separates liquid refrigerant from vapour to protect the metering device and compressor. The dryer should be replaced whenever the air conditioning circuit is opened for repair or if the dryer becomes saturated or restricted. Replaces JRJ100770 and JRJ100410.
