KKB500480 is a left-hand hydraulic engine mounting. Fitted to Range Rover L322 models with the 3.0 litre Td6 diesel engine, this mounting secures the engine to the vehicle structure while isolating vibration and damping torque reaction. The hydraulic, fluid-damped construction reduces both low- and high-frequency movement compared with a simple rubber mount, improving refinement and reducing stress on adjacent engine mounts and ancillary fixings. As the left-side unit it works with the right-hand mounting and the transmission mount to locate the engine laterally and control fore-aft movement during acceleration and deceleration.
