KVU000060 is a chassis-to-body mounting bracket used on Defender chassis assemblies. Fitted to the ladder chassis, the bracket locates the body mounting points and forms the primary structural link where the vehicle body attaches to the chassis, transmitting shear and tensile loads into the chassis rails. Correct positioning maintains body alignment, panel gaps and door alignment; corrosion, deformation or cracking at the mounting faces or bolt holes will allow unwanted movement and can concentrate loads at adjacent fixings.
