Land Rover Part Number: KVU101051 - Front Shock Absorber Turret
KVU101051 is a front shock absorber turret that mounts the top of the front shock absorber to the front suspension on Discovery 2 models. Fitted in the front suspension, the turret provides the upper mounting point for the shock absorber and locates the spring isolator (RBC100111) that fits to the top of the coil spring. The turret accepts the shock absorber top mount and associated fastenings, securing the damper to the vehicle structure and allowing vertical loads to be transmitted into the chassis; when replacing the turret, inspect the top-mount fastenings and the spring isolator (RBC100111) to ensure correct assembly.
Please note: The nut block is not threaded; the tapered-thread bolt ANR3482 cuts its own thread in the nut block on first fitment.
