LGH100990L is a Cylinder Head Inlet Valve fitted to the cylinder head of 2.0L I4 8V TCie diesel engines. Installed in the inlet valve train, the valve admits air during the engine intake stroke and closes to form a gas-tight seal during compression and combustion; the valve face contacts the valve seat in the cylinder head to maintain compression and withstand the high temperatures and pressures produced by the TCie diesel cycle.
