Land Rover Part Number: LR000997 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve
LR000997 is an Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve for 2.2-litre DW and CRDI diesel engines. Fitted to the inlet tract, the valve meters a controlled proportion of exhaust gas back into the intake to reduce peak combustion temperatures and lower nitrogen oxide emissions; it is operated by the engine management system to vary flow according to load, speed and temperature.
Please note: When fitting this valve replace the EGR gasket, part number LR000998. Use the compatibility data below to confirm fitment against your V.I.N.
