LR001025 is a rear brake caliper supplied without brake pads. Fitted to the rear braking system on Land Rover Freelander 2 (L359) models from 2006 to 2014, the caliper converts hydraulic pressure into mechanical clamping force via one or more pistons that press the brake pads against the disc. The unit mounts to the rear axle or hub carrier and connects to the brake hose and, where fitted, the handbrake linkage; compatible pads, mounting bolts and any retaining hardware are required for installation.
