LR004404 is an inlet manifold fitted to the 2.4L Duratorq-TDCi Puma (140PS) diesel engine used on Defender models. Located between the throttle body and the cylinder head, this casting routes and distributes intake air into the head's intake ports, locates the throttle body and provides mating faces for any EGR or charge-air plumbing. Ensure intake gaskets and mating surfaces are undamaged when replacing the manifold to prevent unmetered air entering the engine and to maintain engine responsiveness, idle quality and emissions control.
