LR004514 is a water pump with connector for the 2.4L Puma Duratorq-TDCi diesel engine. Fitted to the engine cooling system, the assembly circulates coolant through the engine's water jackets and radiator circuit so the thermostat and radiator can regulate operating temperature; the included connector provides the coupling to the associated coolant hose or housing to maintain a sealed outlet. When renewing this pump, inspect hoses and seals for age or damage and replace as necessary. Work on the cooling system should be carried out with the engine cold and the system depressurised.
