Land Rover Part Number: LR006650 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve
LR006650 is an exhaust gas recirculation valve fitted to the 2.4 Puma diesel engine on Defender models. The valve meters exhaust gases returned to the intake to reduce NOx emissions and modulates flow according to engine load and speed; a sticking or failed valve can cause increased emissions, rough running or illuminate the engine management warning lamp.
Please note: When fitting this valve replace both EGR gaskets LR004476 and LR004471.

The LR006650 regulates the amount of exhaust gas recirculated into the intake to lower peak combustion temperatures and reduce nitrogen oxide emissions. If the valve sticks or fails it can increase emissions, cause rough running or trigger the engine management warning lamp; when replacing, renew both EGR gaskets LR004476 and LR004471 and ensure the valve is securely mounted to maintain sealing.
