LR008556 is a Clutch Kit - Plate and Cover. This kit contains the clutch plate (friction disc) and the diaphragm-style pressure cover for the 6-speed M66 manual transmission fitted to Freelander 2 models up to VIN AH999999. The clutch plate carries the friction linings that transmit engine torque through the flywheel to the gearbox when clamped by the pressure cover; the diaphragm cover provides the clamping force and the cover springs, together with the plate's damper hub, help to damp torsional disturbances.
