Land Rover Part Number: LR010698 - Exhaust Valve - 5.0 AJ-V8
LR010698 is an exhaust valve for 5.0 AJ-V8 cylinder heads. Fitted to the cylinder head of 5.0 AJ-V8 engines, the valve opens and closes the exhaust port during each combustion cycle to allow exhaust gases to exit the combustion chamber. The valve seals against the valve seat during compression and is timed by the camshaft to open on the exhaust stroke, controlling the flow of spent gases into the exhaust manifold.
