LR014310 is an exhaust gas pressure sensor fitted in the exhaust system of diesel engines equipped with a diesel particulate filter (DPF). It measures pressure within the exhaust stream to determine differential pressure across the DPF and provides a pressure signal to the engine management and emissions control systems so DPF loading can be assessed and regeneration or diagnostic logic applied. On the listed 2.7 TDV6, 3.0 V6 and 3.6 V8 diesel applications the measured pressure is used to detect soot accumulation and to flag high-pressure faults that may require servicing of the DPF or associated exhaust components.
