LR014467 is a Transmission Control Module (TCM). Fitted to vehicles with automatic transmissions, this electronic control unit manages gearbox control logic by receiving inputs from vehicle sensors and the vehicle network, interpreting that data, and sending command outputs to transmission actuators and solenoids to control gear selection and shift timing. The unit also communicates with other control modules to coordinate engine torque and transmission behaviour and records diagnostic trouble codes when faults are detected. Replacing this module restores the vehicle-side electronic interface for transmission control and allows normal electronic fault reporting to be available again.
