LR018396 is a turbocharger for the 2.4 Puma diesel engine. Fitted to the Defender's intake and exhaust routing, this unit raises intake air pressure to increase torque and improve response under load. The turbocharger is lubricated via an oil feed and returns oil to the sump, so correct sealing at the manifold and oil connections is critical to prevent leaks and maintain lubrication.
Please note: When fitting LR018396 you will need exhaust manifold gasket LR007168 and oil feed pipe gasket 1331076. Manifold nuts can round and studs may snap; replacement part numbers WYH500060 and LR009704 are commonly required.
