LR019223 is an Electronic Handbrake Actuator and Cable Assembly. Fitted to the rear parking brake, this assembly contains the motorised actuator and associated cable runs that apply and release the electronic parking brake at the rear wheels by converting electrical commands from the vehicle control system into mechanical movement along the cables to operate the parking brake shoes. Faults commonly follow mechanical binding in the rear brake assembly, so replace the rear discs and handbrake shoes when fitting this module to avoid reoccurrence. Two retaining clips (SPV500030) are required when installing the actuator and cables.
