LR019287 | Camshaft Position Sensor - 2.7 TDV6 | Discovery 4 2010-2016

The LR019287 camshaft position sensor supplies the engine control unit with real-time information about the camshaft's angular position and speed, which the engine management system uses to establish injection timing and valve timing references. The sensor mounts in the cylinder head where it reads the camshaft target or reluctor and outputs an electrical waveform the control unit interprets. Faulty or intermittent signals can cause engine management warnings, irregular idling, difficulty starting or reduced performance; replacement is a direct-fit for affected 2.7 TDV6 cylinder heads, so always check the vehicle V.I.N. before ordering or fitting.
