LR024442 is a right-hand (RH) front shock absorber fitted to the front suspension on Range Rover Evoque L538 models that do not use magnetic damping. It controls compression and rebound movement at the right-front corner, working with the coil spring to manage vertical wheel movement, maintain tyre contact and reduce body motion; the internal piston and fixed hydraulic valving convert wheel movement into heat within the damper body to damp spring oscillation.
