LR024730 is a Right-Hand Lower Engine Mounting for 2.0 petrol engines. Fitted at the right-hand lower side of the engine bay, this mounting locates and supports the engine using a metal bracket bonded to rubberised elements to accept torque and lateral loads, damp vibration and transmit engine loads to the vehicle structure. Correct fitment maintains alignment between the engine and transmission, keeps accessory drive alignments stable and helps preserve drivetrain NVH characteristics under load and during acceleration or idle. During removal or replacement the engine must be supported with a jack or hoist while suspension or subframe fasteners are released.
