LR024995 is a Variable Timing Solenoid that modulates oil flow to the variable valve timing mechanism on 2.0 Turbo Petrol (GTDI) engines. The solenoid controls hydraulic oil supply to the camshaft phasing mechanism so the engine management system can advance or retard cam timing according to engine load and speed.
