LR029302 is a front lower suspension arm (left hand). Fitted to the front suspension of Range Rover Sport L320 models, the arm links the wheel knuckle to the vehicle subframe and controls wheel location under braking and cornering. It locates the front wheel in three dimensions and transmits steering, braking and road loads into the vehicle subframe. Wear or damage to the inner or outer bushes allows lateral or fore-aft movement of the knuckle, commonly producing knocking noises over uneven roads and when applying the brakes at low speed. Bushing replacement on this arm can be difficult, so replacement of the complete arm is a common repair approach. A worn or damaged unit can affect handling and tyre wear; inspection of the arm, its mounting points and bushes should form part of any front suspension fault diagnosis on Range Rover Sport L320 models.
