LR030039 is an in-tank fuel pump and basket for Defender models fitted with the 2.2 Puma Diesel. Fitted inside the fuel tank, the assembly houses the pump and primary strainer and supplies pressurised fuel to the vehicle's high-pressure system or injection pump. The basket locates the pump and suction pick-up, supports the coarse strainer, and connects to the fuel outlet and electrical connector while helping to keep particulate contamination away from the pump inlet.
