LR031827 is a fuel cooler fitted to the fuel system of 2.7 TDV6, 3.0 V6 and 3.6 V8 diesel engines. The assembly reduces fuel temperature before high-pressure delivery to the injection system to lower thermal stress on the fuel pump and injectors and to help maintain correct fuel density for accurate metering.
