LR032311 is a lower engine mounting fitted within the engine and transmission mountings. It locates and supports the engine assembly, dampens vibration transmitted to the body and positions the engine relative to the subframe. The mount absorbs engine movement under torque and road load and acts as an insulator between the engine and vehicle structure to reduce vibration and noise while maintaining correct driveline alignment. Where fitted to 2.0 TIVCT petrol and 2.2 CR DI diesel installations, the lower mounting supports the engine load path at the underside of the power unit and contributes to consistent transmission input geometry.
