LR034265 is a rear shock absorber for Range Rover L405 models. Fitted to the rear suspension, it dampens vertical wheel movement by converting kinetic energy into heat through an internal hydraulic circuit, controlling both compression and rebound of the suspension spring to limit axle movement, reduce body roll and pitch and stabilise the vehicle over uneven road surfaces. Over time seals and valving can wear, which reduces damping efficiency and can lead to increased tyre wear, reduced ride control and altered vehicle handling.
