Land Rover Part Number: LR034271 - Shock Absorber
LR034271 is a shock absorber fitted to the rear suspension of Range Rover L405 models from 2013 to 2022. This unit supersedes LR098792. The shock absorber controls wheel and body movement at the rear axle by dampening oscillation from the springs and road inputs; internal valving forces hydraulic fluid through controlled passages to convert kinetic energy into heat, reducing rebound and compression rates to help maintain tyre contact and ride quality. Replacement is required when piston seals leak, damping performance falls below specification, or when the unit is physically damaged.
