LR035450 is a shut-off valve fitted to turbocharger compressed-air recirculation systems on specified 3.0 V6 and 4.4 V8 diesel engines. Mounted on the turbocharger assembly, it controls the flow path and closes recirculation passages when the secondary turbocharger must be isolated or when compressed-air flow needs to be interrupted. Correct operation limits unwanted backflow and prevents pressurised air from reaching sections of the induction system that must be isolated. The valve is applicable to multiple 3.0 V6 turbocharged diesel variants and to the 4.4L DOHC DITC V8 diesel turbocharger arrangement where compressed-air recirculation and shut-off capability is specified; maintenance or replacement should follow vehicle manufacturer guidance for access and removal of turbocharger-mounted components.
