LR035563 is a throttle body assembly with an integrated electric motor. Fitted to selected 3.0L DOHC GDI supercharged V6 and 5.0L AJ133 V8 petrol engines, it controls the throttle plate position to regulate airflow into the intake tract in response to accelerator input and engine management commands. The assembly includes the throttle plate, electric actuator, mounting interface and electrical connector; replacement is required if the motor or position sensor fails, if the throttle plate binds, or if heavy carbon build-up prevents correct movement.
