Land Rover Part Number: LR050775 - Rear Brake Caliper
LR050775 is a rear brake caliper. Fitted to the rear brake assembly on Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models, the caliper applies hydraulic clamping force to press the brake pads onto the disc during braking. When hydraulic pressure from the master cylinder reaches the caliper, internal pistons push the pads onto the rotor; the caliper mounts to the rear brake carrier, accepts the brake pads and retaining hardware, and contains seals and guide features to control piston movement and brake fluid routing. Correct caliper specification and fitment for the rear axle and wheel/disc size is required to maintain balanced braking, heat transfer and consistent pedal feel. For vehicles fitted with an electronic parking brake or integrated wear sensors, confirm that the replacement caliper is compatible with those systems before installation.
Use the compatibility data below to confirm fitment against your V.I.N.

Frequently Asked Questions
The LR050775 rear caliper converts hydraulic pressure from the brake lines into mechanical force via internal pistons, pressing the pads against the rotor to slow the vehicle. It secures to the rear brake carrier, houses seals and guides for controlled piston movement and fluid routing, and accepts the brake pads and retaining hardware. Correct caliper condition and fitment is essential for balanced braking and consistent pedal feel.
