Land Rover Part Number: LR051011 - Right Hand Timing Chain Guide
LR051011 is a right-hand timing chain guide fitted to the timing gear of 3.0 AJ-V6 and 5.0 AJ-V8 petrol engines. It locates and supports the right-hand timing chain, positioning the chain to control its running line and working with the tensioner assembly and tensioner blades to limit slack and reduce noise during engine operation. Wear or damage to the guide can allow increased chain movement, which may accelerate wear on sprockets and tensioning components. This component is used on a range of Land Rover models fitted with 3.0 AJ-V6 and 5.0 AJ-V8 petrol engines.
Please note: When replacing the timing chain on these engines replace both tensioners (LR051008), both left and right chain guides (LR051011 & LR051012) and the two tensioner blades (LR051013).

Replace LR051011 when the timing chain is being replaced or if the guide shows visible wear or damage. Land Rover recommends replacing both tensioners (LR051008), both chain guides (LR051011 & LR051012) and the two tensioner blades (LR051013) at the same time to restore correct chain alignment and reduce the risk of premature component failure.
