Land Rover Part Number: LR051622 - Right Hand Upper Rear Suspension Arm
LR051622 is a Right Hand Upper Rear Suspension Arm fitted to the rear suspension of Discovery 4 models. This wishbone mounts between the rear knuckle and the chassis mounting points to locate the rear wheel hub, control lateral and longitudinal wheel location and help maintain correct camber and toe under load. It links the rear knuckle to the vehicle body and transmits braking, cornering and road shock forces into the chassis and suspension bushings. Replacement is often required after impact, corrosion or bushing wear; when refitted the arm must be secured with correct torque and any damaged bushes or fasteners should be renewed. Due to restricted access around the rear knuckle the mounting bolts can be heavily corroded and sometimes require cutting-out and renewal, which is why the DA7207 bolt kit is commonly called for during repairs. Check wheel alignment after installation to confirm geometry is within specification.
Please note: Replacement frequently requires new bolts when original fasteners are seized; bolt kit DA7207 is specified where bolts must be cut out and replaced.
