LR051623 is a left hand rear upper suspension arm fitted to the rear suspension on Discovery 4 models. The arm forms part of the rear knuckle and suspension arms assembly, locating and supporting the upper corner of the rear suspension; it provides a mount for the upper section of the rear wheel hub and connects into the vehicle structure at the chassis end. The component transfers lateral and longitudinal loads between the wheel hub and the vehicle body during normal driving and under braking or cornering, and wear in the arm's mounting points or bushes will affect wheel alignment and can produce uneven tyre wear or handling changes. Replacement is typically performed in pairs so alignment specifications can be restored after fitment.
Please note: These suspension arms can be difficult to replace as the retaining bolts are often seized; if the bolts must be cut out you will need bolt kit DA7207.
