LR065238 is a transmission oil pan fitted to the base of ZF 8-speed automatic transmissions. The pan forms the lower enclosure of the gearbox, creating a sealed reservoir for transmission fluid and providing a mounting surface for the transmission filter and associated external components. It also provides a service access point for fluid and filter maintenance; during routine service the pan is removed or accessed to replace the transmission filter and to change fluid.
