LR068982 | Control Valve - Clutch Release Mechanism | Defender 2007-2016

The LR068982 control valve regulates hydraulic flow and pressure within the clutch release system on Defender models fitted with the MT82 gearbox. It controls the pressure delivered to the clutch slave components so the clutch can disengage and re-engage smoothly, which influences pedal feel and clutch modulation. The valve is replaced when hydraulic pressure control is faulty or when internal leakage prevents proper clutch operation.
