LR071974 is a front ABS sensor fitted to the anti-lock braking system as a front wheel speed sensor. The sensor measures front wheel rotation and converts that movement into an electrical wheel-speed signal for the vehicle control electronics; the anti-lock braking control module and vehicle stability systems use this information to regulate braking intervention and stability. It is supplied for the front wheel position and may be fitted to either left or right front where compatible - correct electrical connection and secure wheel-end mounting are required for accurate readings.
