LR082301 is an EGR Cooler fitted to the exhaust gas recirculation system of 2.0 L Ingenium diesel engines. It cools recirculated exhaust gas before it is returned to the intake to reduce peak combustion temperatures and lower NOx formation. The cooler also helps limit thermal load on the EGR valve, intake tract and related sensors.
