LR082740 is a Fuel Pump and Sender Unit fitted inside the vehicle fuel tank. The unit supplies pressurised petrol to the engine and provides the fuel level signal to the vehicle instrument system. The assembly contains an electric pump, pickup and filter basket plus a float-type or sensor sender arranged to sit within the tank; it is specified to deliver the higher flow and pressure required by turbocharged 2.0L Ingenium and 3.0 I6 direct-injection petrol engines, and to provide a consistent feed and level sensing function for 5.0L AJ133 V8 petrol installations.
