LR087236 is a Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor. Fitted to the inlet manifold on supercharged 3.0L DOHC GDI V6 and 5.0L V8 petrol engines, this sensor monitors absolute pressure in the inlet tract and provides a pressure signal to the engine control unit to assist with fuel and ignition control and forced-induction management.
