Fitted to the rear of the vehicle, this unit provides a rearward video feed to the Discovery Sport visual aids system to assist with reversing and low-speed manoeuvres. The assembly includes the imaging element and the connector interface required to join the vehicle harness and the control modules responsible for camera switching and display. As a fixed camera, the lens and mounting position are set to deliver consistent viewing angles for parking guidance; fault or damage to this unit will remove the rear video feed used for reversing visibility and obstacle awareness.
