LR093998 is a Mass Air Flow Sensor fitted to the engine air intake on 2.0 L Ingenium and 3.0 I6 engines. The sensor measures the mass of incoming air (accounting for volume, temperature and pressure) and converts that measurement into an electrical signal for the engine management system. Its output is used for fuel metering and emissions control and is essential for maintaining correct air-fuel ratio, stable idle and good transient response.
