LR113871 is a front suspension arm. This arm locates the front steering knuckle and controls wheel geometry within the front suspension of Range Rover Velar models. It positions the wheel assembly relative to the vehicle body and transmits vertical, lateral and longitudinal loads between the wheel and the chassis. Fitted to the front suspension, the arm carries suspension and braking forces and its geometry determines static and dynamic camber and caster that affect tyre contact under load. Attachment points on the arm interface with the vehicle subframe and the steering knuckle to control wheel travel and steering response. Wear, damage or deformation of the arm can change wheel alignment and ride behaviour, and replacement restores the designed suspension geometry.
