LR116119 is a Left Hand Front MacPherson Strut - Non-Adaptive Damper. Fitted to the left-hand front of Discovery Sport L550 vehicles from 2015 onwards where a magnetic adaptive damping system is not present, the assembly combines a hydraulic damper with the coil spring mounting to control vertical wheel movement and provide structural support to the front suspension. The strut absorbs road impacts and manages rebound, carries vertical loads and lateral loads during cornering, and locates the hub via the lower mount and the top strut mount.
