LR116926 is an engine mounting bracket fitted to the engine mounting system on 3.0L DOHC GDI SC V6 petrol and 5.0 Litre supercharged enhanced engines for the Range Rover Velar. The bracket locates the engine mount assembly and transfers engine support loads into the vehicle structure; when used with the engine mount bushing or mount assembly it keeps the mount correctly positioned so the engine remains aligned with the body under torque and vibration. If the bracket is deformed, fractured or incorrectly installed it will alter mounting geometry and can cause increased vibration, noise or additional loading on adjacent drivetrain components - replacement restores the original mounting location for the specified engines.
