LR117067 is a Transfer Shift Control Module. Fitted to the gear-change system of 8-speed automatic transmissions, this module manages electronic shift selection and timing for applicable Range Rover and Discovery models. It interprets inputs from the gear selector and transmission sensors and issues control signals to transmission actuators and solenoids; in vehicles fitted with ZF 8-speed transmissions the unit forms part of the gear-change control chain and directly affects ratio selection and shift response.
