LR117932 is a Passive Keyless Entry/Start Anti-Theft Alarm System Module. Fitted as the security and convenience control unit, the module controls passive keyless entry, push-button start and vehicle alarm outputs by processing radio signals from the smart key and inputs from vehicle sensors. It decodes the smart key signal to determine authorised entry and engine start requests, communicates authorisation to the immobiliser/start systems and other vehicle modules over the vehicle data bus, and monitors door, bonnet and tailgate status along with interior alarm sensors to drive lock/unlock and alarm outputs.
