LR124259 is an oil filter, oil cooler and filter housing assembly for the 3.0 V6 diesel. Fitted to the engine lubrication and cooling system of the Gen 2 3.0 V6 diesel, the assembly combines the replaceable oil filter element, oil cooler and housing in a single mounted unit that attaches to the engine block. Oil is routed through the filter to remove solid contaminants and through the cooler to help control oil temperature under higher load conditions; the housing provides the correct ports and sealing faces to align with the engine oil passages and cooler connections.
