LR133249 is an alternator fitted to 2.7 TDV6 140 kW engines. It converts mechanical energy from the engine into electrical energy to recharge the battery and to supply the vehicle's electrical systems while the engine is running. The unit mounts to the front of the engine and is driven by the accessory belt; internal rectifier and regulator circuits provide a stable DC output for charging and vehicle electrics.
Please note: Battery must be fully recharged before fitting this new alternator. Failure to do so may affect any future warranty claim.
