Land Rover Part Number: LR140079 - Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensor
LR140079 is an exhaust gas oxygen sensor fitted to the exhaust system on 3.0 V6 and 5.0 AJ133 V8 petrol engines. The sensor measures oxygen levels in the exhaust stream and provides a live voltage feedback signal to the engine control unit (ECU) so the ECU can adjust fuel injection and maintain the intended air-fuel ratio. The sensor also supports catalytic converter monitoring; a degraded or failed sensor can cause incorrect ECU feedback, affecting emissions performance and fuel consumption, so replacement restores correct exhaust sensing for the engine management system.
This product supersedes LR098291 which superseded LR035747.
