LR140267 is a front engine mount support. Fitted to the front of the engine, this mount secures and locates the engine relative to the front subframe and reduces vibration transmitted to the body. It combines metal and elastomer elements to absorb torsional and vertical movement under load, limiting stress on ancillary components such as the exhaust, cooling pipes and engine wiring and reducing noise, vibration and harshness. A worn or damaged mount can allow excess engine movement, visible rocking during rev changes or increased vibration at idle; replacement restores the original mounting position and designed dynamic characteristics. Fitment must match the vehicle engine, trim and VIN variations listed below; correct alignment and torque settings are necessary during installation.
